Question for POCONAS on IG closing

You mention blowing the skimmers while screwing the gizmo on but if the water level has not been lowered does't water end up in the Gizmo ? If I buy a super Gizmo can I just screw it in the skimmer remove the cap and blow the water out that way ?

Don't know what a Super Gizmo is as mine is basically an elongated thin plastic pipe plug. I hook the shop vac to the pump inlet pipe and blow backwards toward the skimmer so the skimmer line is blown free of water while I screw in the Gizmo. I have some pics to explain things better and will get to that soon.
