Closing pool

Does anybody have any experience closing Ig gunite two skimmers, two returns, de filter and draining pump. Would like to save my $300.

As far as I know the closing procedure doesn't matter whether you have a gunite or vinyl lined pool. Everything I've seen on this forum over many years deals with protecting the 'common' parts. Piping, skimmers, filter, pump, chemistry, etc. One area of concern that vinyl people have is the water table. Vinyl liners are more sensitive to 'floating' than a gunite pool. All it takes is a little negative pressure to float a liner but because of the weight, much more to pop a gunite pool out of the ground. There are a couple sticky posts at the top of this forum dealing with closing AG & IG pools. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
