Canadian Closing

Well I'm thinking it's about time to close my pool for the first time.
Can someone let me know if my steps are incorrect?

• Clean, balance, and shock to shock level.
• Drain a few inches past lowest return (18" for me)
• Drain and disconnect Disconnect Pump / Filter
• Blow water out of returns and skimmer
• Filll Returns with RV Antifreeze and Plug Returns when RV Antifreeze starts to come out of return jets (or can I just plug and pour?)
• Fill skimmer with some antifreeze, plug with Gizzmo
• Put winter cover on, and cover steps.

I think thats about it.. any comments?

What type of pool? There are a couple sticky threads at the top of this forum, one for IG and the other for AG pools that should be of help.
