We are signing a contract Saturday on our 12x25 FG inground pool. Viking warranties the pool for lifetime and 7 years for the finish. The PB warranties workmanship and materials for 1 year. Is that the norm?

I don't know about the pool and finish, but I believe that one year on the materials and workmanship is pretty standard.
Pool owner - contract signed 21Aug2006; HOA approval granted; complete - existing patio demolition; excavation; rebar; embedded plumbing; gunite; plumbing; electrical; tile and coping; decking; plaster; pool fill; acid start-up; regular start-up; pool school; gas meter upgrade; additional of salt; PDA remote programming.
