    Default Mesh Cover?

    I have a loop lock mesh cover. Is it necessary to put a black plastic tarp underneath the mesh cover before closing.

    Not in my opinion. Used to use a mesh but don't cover now. You'll get some dust and dirt over the Winter but that is easily taken care of in the Spring.
