I am familiar with the Summit and the Jandy units, and not the AquaCal, but I do know a bit about it. I also know that those are probably the top 3 heat pumps available.
The Jandy is the unit that I sell in my store and on my new pools, and it is fantastic, but I have sold the Summit in the past and it is also very good. The warranty on the Jandy unit is slightly better than the Summit as well. Otherwise, they are very similar, both use a scroll compressor, titanium heat exchanger, and digital controls. The Jandy AE3000 is not 115,000 BTU's though, it is 131,000 BTUs. I have no experience with the cooling feature though, as my customers don't need it. I love the service that I get from Jandy, although with Sean from AutoPilot/AquaCal on this board you will get amazing from them as well.

Regarding the cooling option, I wish I got one when I bought my Heat Pump. There have been several weeks were the pool water was in the low 90s which is too warm for me. I don't know how much it costs to cool the water - I figure about the same as heating it which is $2 to $3 a day. I live in Orlando FL.
    Good Luck.
