Goofy Reel Question

Is the Odyssey reel the same as -or made by -the same company as Horizon? I saw on their web site that they offer an extension for the 28' reel. I need a 30' so it might be an option for us. I can't find the company who makes Horizon, but I know they don't offer an extension anymore. Anyone???...Thanks Denise

Ok, so I'll answer my own question. I found out that Odyssey is the original maker of that particular reel. Horizon only started making it after the employee left Odyssey and went to Horizon-according to Odyssey. Odyssey has a no hassel 3 year warranty-if anything goes wrong just give them a call and they will replace the part that's bad. They also carry the patent on that reel-not sure if it's the whole reel or a part. Odyssey also has the extension part to make the reel fit up to a 34' pool. I found the info interesting but more important a reel that will fit my pool. Hope it can help someone else. Denise
