It looks like the replacement pump has a handle. Other than that, it looks like a low end pump. They also say it should be installed by a professional but why would you get a pump that is easier to install.
Depending on you pool specs, I would go with one of the higher efficiency pumps (Northstar, Whisperflow, Max-E-Pro) and stay away from some of the low end stuff. Also, Leslie's usually does not have the best pricing but if they are local, I can understand why you would want to go with them.
