Dennis - don't get upset over that comment!!! Notice that I mentioned "you might need a couple extra hands" - that's all I meant by it - the need for hands - heck, if they wouldn't be prone to puncturing the liner, at this point, you could use clamps. To hold a liner in place does not require any skill - remember, the guy with the necessary rocket enginner skill level already placed it there at the right height - adjusted to the manufacturers specifications given the temperature and relative humidity cross referenced to the encrypted charts supplied by our friendly manufacturer in China, with the pretty print lined up exactly right so there is no skew in the design and no variation of height at the water line (unless Mr. Rocket Engineer built the pool crooked!).
But since Mr. Rocket Engineer is required to perform this painstaking task all around a 20 to 30 foot (FYI - that's between 80 and 100 linear feet of wall for those non rocket engineers) and his arm span is only 5 feet, it is obvious he will need unskilled labor to hold the allready calibrated liner in place as he performs his precision engineering around the remainder of this perimeter.
