    Default can i add salt to a nonsalt pool

    i have an ag 21' vinyl liner pool 10,500 gallons. with a 1 1/2 hp motor and sand filter.
    i am curious if salt can be added without switching to swg. if salt can be added what kind and how much of salt should be added.

    thanks for the link. any idea how much salt i should put in a 10,500 gallon pool?? from reading at that link it seems to be water softener salt.
