    Default Converting painted rubber coat to epoxy

    I have an inground gunite marcite pool that was painted about 4 years ago with rubberized chlorinated paint. The paint is now starting to chalk and I would like to repaint it using an epoxy paint but I understand you cannot use epoxy over rubber.

    Kellytech.com has a product that they say will convert the old rubberized paint finish to epoxy - it's called Fusion Plus Conversion Coating. Has anyone used this product? Feedback will be appreciated.

    I've used it on a few commercial jobs. It works fine. Epoxy paint is definitely better than rubber based also.
