    Default hayward chlorine feeder noise.

Its brand new and Im sure Its not a defect just looking for any tricks or what I can do to tame it down..

It makes a lite crackling type noice,
sounds like its coming from inside,
im guessing it has something to do with the chlorine tablets. after a while it calms down.

Its not super loud just anoying at times.

    any thoughts?

Cool Re: hayward chlorine feeder noise.

Freddyttt, you can try turning the control knob from full to off a few times. If it's what I think (the noise sounds to me like 'ticking'), this usually does the trick.

Is it the inline (CL 200) or off line (CL 220)? If you have more trouble with it, let me know, these are the auto chlorinators I've worked with 99+% of my career. (Especially if you develop a 'stubborn or leaky lid Hayward markets an identical o-ring to the CL 200 series' lid ring for one of their AG pumps that costs ~ 1/3 list)
