Only a quick comment - your pool volume is probably not quite that high. Even if your walls are 52", you only have about 48" of water which would put your volume at more like 13,500.

Thanks, Watermom. I thought it seemed high, but I was calculating the whole thing.

I haven't added any Borax yet. I have the return pointed up to see if I can raise the pH that way first. I spent a long time last year getting the Alk down.
