    Well that must be a relief to know its not leaking at least. Your choices then would be fill on a regular basis, get an Auto-fill device or put on a cover which will cut down on the evaporation, still have to fill sometimes but a lot less.
    Beats driving to the lake!

    I never top it off,( well except for intial filling in spring),because it rains a lot in Nova Scotia

    A solar cover will greatly decrease the amount of evaporation you get, without a solar cover, you lose about 1/4 to 1/2 inch on a sunny day, solar cover on, literally nothing evaporates, only for the periods you use the pool.

    I top off weekly at a minimum.. When it's 100* and 6% humidity you can almost see the water line dropping
