Normal "burn" rate for chlorine in a day

For anybody interested, this thread eventually turned into a discussion on how to put a peristaltic pump in the pool. I moved that part of this discussion to the China Shop, so if you want to participate in that discussion, please do so there. I feel that it is a bit complicated for the average person learning to control their pool chemistry.
