How do you clean you water bags?

I started scrubbing them and it is a PITA! Can I throw them in the washing machine with some bleach and an old towel? I clean my shower curtains like that with no problem. I just don't want to ruin them.

I lay mine out on the deck and use the pool wall brush - I actually can clean 2 at time this way. Dunk the brush in the pool (with all that handy bleach and algecide already in the water). Hose them off, hang over the fence to dry, roll up and store for the summer.
