How long should you wait to swim after adding Muratic Acid? Thanks, Joyce

Unless you have a huge pool with poor circulation, 10 minutes should be plenty of time for the acid to dissipate as long as the pump is running. This is especially true if you poured the acid slowly over a return in the deep end. And even this is being conservative. The pH buffer in the pool makes it safe to swim rather quickly.

You can always test the pH in the area where you added the acid. That would give you assurance.
