Default Some small leaks from filter

    Hey folks,

So, I've got a couple of minor leaks coming from the filter. Nothing at all major; just some steady dripping. One from the pressure gauge area, and one from the valve fittings that come out of the filter and into the return jets.

I'm not gonna lose water level on these things. I just might get some small puddles after 8 hours of having the pump.

My question is, do I have to care about this? Or can I just leave it be? Because right now it's not bothering me, so my initial reaction is to just leave well enough alone. But, if there's some reason I need to fiddle with it and fix it, I will. Just not sure if I have to.

    Thanks for the advice!

I wouldn't worry about it. You may make things worse trying to fix it. This is a really small leak and sometimes it will plug itself. I've had copper threaded joints plug themselves. The pressure gauge fix should be easy as you don't have pipes to worry about. Maybe just cleaning the threads and re-taping with teflon plumbing tape will stop it.
