aerating my pool

I have a 24' ABG pool and it was very green. Now it is just milky.

TA=130
CYA=30
Yesterday my ph was 7.8 and today it is below 6.8. I have added one box of Borax and have turned my return to aerate the water. How often should I test the ph? And should I even be aerating it or just adding Borax?

My ph seems to be dropping even though I am aerating. Someone please help. The drops are almost showing no red in my water at all.
