    Question lots of rain water

    just a ???? what does rain water do to our pool new to chorine converted from baq, water almost up to the top of skimmer box, tests seem ok does it change anything, ph ect ect will check for answers later thanks i know if i had baq it would be costing me lots of $$$$$$ and cloudy water.

    It drops the concentrations of every pool chemical, and usually drives the pH down some. Often introduces a lot of debris into the water too.

    Ill keep an eye on the readings Iknow about things in my pool as i have a couple if trees near by,, bye the way why is a check mark always in my ratings column?????

    Heavy rain is a gift to us. We have to refill from the well and I begrudge every gallon I lose when I backwash and rinse. So, after a heavy rain I have the luxury of vacuuming to waste or doing a good backwash/rinse cycle. Then I test the water and add whatever got diluted by the rain.

    Yep, I have seen a drop in PH from all our rain. Cover keeps the debris out but have to watch those levels.
