The only thing I did in order to remove any doubt that it was indeed the liner, was to have the lines pressure tested before the new liner went in. I used a company that specialized in this instead of having the company replacing the liner do it. Figured they'd know how to find leaks better. I had to drain the pool for them to do it, but then I had to do that anyway.
