Default Hayward ladybug part...can I fix it?

It seems my Hayward ladybug auto cleaner needs a new "a-frame kit" for $66.99. Anyone know where I can get one cheaper or if they can be repaired at home? It's been in service only 6 months since it gets the winters off. Seems kinda expensive if this is going to be an annual thing.

Those things look relatively simple to take apart, looks like the a frames are available from on line retailers for 30-40 bucks.
    I think it's part number axv111p

Leslie's wants $56 plus $10. Where did you see it for less?
