It all seemed to work. All the algae appears to be gone. I followed the direction here as best I could. I alsc cleared up all my rust stains with absorbic acid and used metal free to get rid of the metal. Thanks for all the help!

Never tell the pool store you cleared your pool with bleachThey will send the paddy wagon out for you
