I'd probably not have asked that Cop to hold my beer while I got my wallet out....

Used a different pool builder instead of the out of business, drug addict crook that left me with a pool I had to finish myself.

Used a flagstone coping (native to my area) instead of a tumbled stone.

Used a colored plaster instead of brite white to help hide stains.

Made my entry (step) area larger.
