    Default 2 speed pump question

Do all 2 speed pumps run off of 220 voltage? I remember when the electrical was put in that they ran 2 lines, but I don't remember what the voltage was. How would I tell if I have 220 or 115?

I don't know of any that run off 115.

There are several ways to tell if you have 220.
    1) You have a different plug on the pump, a twist lock.
    2) The breaker covers 2 circuits in your breaker box.
    3) Use a voltmeter across the two poles.
    4) There are always a minimum of 3 lines--two live ones, and one common. Either live line to the common is 115v, but across the two live ones is 220-240 volts.
    5) Ask an electrician.
