    Default Rain

Someone please remind me....what affect does rain have on pool water? We are expecting a couple days of nothing but rain and I want to be sure I'm prepared.

    thanks!

Usually not much although if a lot of organic stuff drops into the pool, you may need to shock the pool. Also, sometimes a lot of rain will lower the ph somewhat if your area has acid rain. The only other thing that may happen is that rain causes people to not go out and test their pool and the chlorine levels get low.

Excellent point. That seems to be the case with me!
