We're officially swimming!!!!!

Yesterday after my kid's field day at school, they came home to find water temp at 79.9 (magic number here is 80 degrees), so in they went....still a little cold for me, but they swam for a couple of hours and had a blast!! (And that's no additional heating--just heated via air temps).

This is why I love being able to keep my pool open year round, so that the minute the temp gets high enough, we're able to jump on in.

Summer's right around the corner!!

I opened my pool Wednesday morning, and it had quite a bit of dirt/debris/and leaves to vacuum out, obviously the water wasn;t as clear as I'd have liked. I took to vacuuming, getting my cl levels up, and getting the filtration started. I told my wife the kids would probably ask to swim before the day was over. I had planned on not letting them in for a couple of weeks to give me time to get it clean and the water temps up.

Well, as you would know it...they've been swimming for the last 2 days, and could care less that the temp is about 70 degrees.....Geez !!! Kids....
