Rust stain on vinyl

I have an IG vinyl pool that is around 33,500 gal. I opened up this season to find that I missed a hair bobby pin that was sitting on the bottom when I closed last year. It has left a rust spot on the liner. What can I do to get this off? I have tried to brush it off with no luck . It is time to move to the next step. Any ideas??

It will eventually go away on its own through routine shocking, but you could also rub it with a vitamin C tablet.
