Default IG-Robotic - How frequently do you clean?

I'm ordering a dolphin dynamic robotic cleaner. I am looking for recommendations on the frequency of cleaning. Any tips would be appreciated.

Just got mine from www.costco.com and have been wondering the same thing.

I'm thinking the more you use it, the less you can run your pool equipment since this thing's filtering and circulating the water. The down side is the more you use it, the more you have to clean its filter and lug the thing in and out of the pool.

It does an incredible job though and using it more frequently would probably let you get by with just the two hour cleaning cycle. I've been cursing my Baracuda for years, but was afraid to spend this much on a pool cleaner. I should've got this thing a long time ago.

I wouldn't fall too much for the "additional filter" ploy. Sure it helps, but nothing filters/circulates like the built-in equipment.

Still, the Dolphin is moving and filtering water at all depths; not just the surface. It can also do a better job of circulating chemicals and evening out the water temperature. And I'd rather clean out its filter bag than have to clean the pool's cartridge filter. It's also a lot cheaper to operate, I'd think.
