Default leaving pool empty and laying down

I emptied my 18x52 and dried it all out and put power like it said. I would like to know if anyone ever just took the legs off and then just left the top rest on ground. I am going to put the cover on and we purchased a heavy duty top cover and will stake it down so nothing gets inside. Has anyone any information on this as to if it works or not.

An empty AG round pool empty? Without the water inside you really are risking it collapsing in on itself.

Is it an Intex pool with poles or is it a hard side AG?

That will make a huge difference. However, If it is an Intex, you would be better advised to fold/roll the completely dried unit and store it in a container secured against critter entry.

Of hard side pools, I know not.
15' round 4.8K gal Intex AG pool; Intex 633 pump with twin canisters (2500 gph main filtering); Unicel 5315 filter cartridges; Intex 637 pump w/o filter (1000 gph heater circulation); 4hrs; K-2006; utility water; PF:24
