In The Pool Equations Spreadsheet how does one read the HOCL statement
On the HOCL line the adjoining statement states:
"0.011 is approximately 650mV of ORP and is the minimum for sanitation; 0.1 total (0.05 HOCl?) kills most marine plankton (so possibly prevents most algae?)"
If the HOCL readout is .05 is this 0.1 as above or is this half the above number? I'm a little confused.
Any help would be appreciated. I hope the bold makes clear what I am trying to get at.

Re: In The Pool Equations Spreadsheet how does one read the HOCL statement
That was just a notation to myself from something I saw I believe in an EPA report. Apparently, most pool algae is not as hearty as the marine plankton that they referred to. Don't worry about that comment. Green algae seems to be kept in control at 0.03 ppm while yellow/mustard algae is controlled at 0.07 ppm.
