In a home sale, everything's negotiable--we got stuck buying a washer/dryer twice--when we sold our last house the W/D and basement fridge was part of the deal--but not the kitchen fridge. So that fridge has been in our garage for 11 years as the second fridge (soda, milk, wine, BEER! ). But we had to buy a W/D for the new house. That's just how it goes.
