Question Polaris goes in circles in deep end

My Polaris 380 just goes in a wide counter clockwise circle in the deep end of my inground gunite pool. Never ventures to the rest of the pool.

Last year I purchased the tune up kit and replaced all parts including a broken belt. This year, it wont go in the shallow end unless I drag it there. I have read the troubleshooting in the manual and adjusted the thrust jet, ect. It doesnt help. Any ideas?

    Just an idea...

Having had a 165, I noticed that some of the inner workings could get clogged up. Then a jet wouldn't work and it would go in circles. They sent me a new innards under warranty...I don't know how yours works. Maybe soaking it in a bucket of diluted muriatic acid? If it's not working, why not? It's a loss anyway. Just remove the belts and other sundry items that you know aren't the problem.

Make sure the drive belt hasn't slipped off again....that's what mine did when the belt broke.

Thanks! I checked the belts. They were on, but seemed a little loose. I tightened them up and its working correctly now!! Yay!
