    There are some fountains that can be left in the pool while swimming. Polaris makes a few styles but they are pricy. BTW, these type of fountains are EXCELLENT for aerating the water when lowering TA.

    Thanks so much. My office goes out to the pool deck and I just thought it would be cool to listen and look at and they are relatively inexpensive. But I didn't think about it cooling down the temperature - that's an added plus. Thanks for your replies

    I have one of the Polaris fountains that attaches to the side where my Polaris cleaner attaches. We really like it, and use it mainly to cool the water (Louisiana in full sun). It works well, and holds up pretty well to rambunctious kids, too.....

    I think we spent around $100 for it, but it was well worth it.
