So I wonder, will this be an acceptable product for use with the ascorbic acid treatment?

Beause the ascorbic acid will bring the PH down would it be acceptable to spike the PH, maybe above 8.0, before starting the treatment?

Or just find another type of metal out product?

    Thanks again for the feedback.
Just about all HEDP based seqesterants say to adjust the pH before use. Don't lose any sleep about it. If you use this product be sure to read the ingredients. It should be a phosphonic acid derivative or HEDP.
