    Default Replacing 500w Pool Light

    Hi all -

My pool light blew last fall, and I've been waiting for the water to get warm enough to go in and replace it. Well, it's time. :-)

How do I select a replacement? Are there special lights for pool use, or are these just basic 500w floodlights?

    Thanks!

They are special lights - simply remove the old bulb and take it down with you when you pick up the new one

Thanks! Are these bulbs available at the local Home Depot, or should I go to a Leslies?

I'd say you'll have a better chance at Leslies
