Default Looking to replace my QuikChlor with Pool Pilot

My QuikChlor salt chlorinator has bitten the dust, seeing that I couldn't find any replacement parts for it online, I've decided to replace the system with Pool Pilot Digital or Aquarite.

My first preference is the Pool Pilot Digital. The problem is, I do not have enough horizontal return pipe clearance to install the Manifold assembly. My existing cell is installed vertically (about 12") in the return line, could I install the manifold vertically (the water flow will move from top to bottom) in the return line instead?

This is a question I'll leave to PoolSean, any chance of posting a pic or 2 of the return set up so we can gauge the room you have to work with?

(FYI - Sean works for Pool Pilot, which is why I leave this for him )

If he doesn't see this in a day or so, I'll ask him to take a look
