Default Please Help with Solar Cover attachment

I just bought a solar cover and reel. My pool is in-ground rectangular 18 x 36. It does curve out maybe 1 foot at the end. The direction of the reel says to place it at the widest part of the pool which would be about two feet from the end. It would stradle the pool. If so does the little 1-2 foot curve at the end not get covered or is there a way to cover that as well. I can't conceptualize how that would work since when i will roll this out it will only go one way.

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I have a similar geometry with rounded ends and don't worry about the little bit at the end with a rectangular cover. If I really want to conserve heat I do have separate end pieces cut from old covers I just lay in.

Thanks. That's the only idea i could think of as well. I just wanted to make sure there were no other options but it sounds like that is a practical one.
