Pool Leveler making a high pitch noise.

everytime the pool leveler comes on it makes a loud high pitch noise we can hear in most rooms of the house.

is this common for leveler's? any ideas how to fix?

Have you tried adjusting the supply water valve to change the noise, or eliminate it?
