Pool Clown, you're right. Aqua Pure is the old Chloromatic right? The salinity and flow sensors are built into a single components ensor with the phone plug connector molded into it.
My bad.

Having similar problem with my Jandy 1400. It's showing code 170 (a front board issue or the 120 v is not connected correctly). Since the unit has been working fine for 2.5 years I will assume it is wired properly. I purchased a new board and installed it to no avail. It is still throwing the same code with the new board. Any ideas would be appreciated. We have no authorized service people in Indianapolis.
I'm working on a 170 code right now. I've swapped out a front board, back board, checked the voltages, (what the flow diag says to do) but still has code. Will be back today or tomorrow to replace sensor (my diagnosis, we'll see if im right), and will let you know then what happened.
Update: Changed the flow, temp, salinity sensor and that fixed it. Crazy, those flow sensor have turned out to be a real pain the past year or so.
