Automatic Pool Cover Switch

It appears that my automatic pool cover switch is going out. It works occasionally. Will open the cover but not close the cover. Wanting to replace the switch, which is located on a remote box by my back door. The switch is they type that uses a key to toggle open or close. So my questions are these:

1. Is the problem most likely the switch?
2. Can I purchase a new switch online or elsewhere?

I have opened the box up and replacing the switch looks pretty straight forward. Just a few wires with wire nuts.

I'll put this where others can see it, but I don't recommend holding your breath while you wait for an answer. It's certainly outside my area of expertise.

However, you will greatly increase your chances of getting a helpful answer if you:
1. Post the make, model and date of installation of your cover.
2. Link in some pictures of the gear you're having problems with. You can use pretty much any family-friendly photo service to do so.
