    Default low pump flow

When running filter mode I keep getting low filter flow. I don't know what to check for this. Didn't see it in the book.

As explained below, you'll have to tell us a lot more, before we can offer you any useful advice. And if your equipment is non-standard (= made in China), you'll have to post pictures.

The PoolForum can not solve your pool problems; we can only help you do so. After all, you are there with the pool and we are . . . NOT.
    _________________________________________

Most pool owners find they have to choose between options they don't really like.
    1. You can remove your pool, OR
    2. You can take your chances with the pool guys you can find and afford, OR
    3. You can take your chances with your local pool stores, OR
    4. You can learn to take care of your pool your very own self.
We can only help with the last option, because we can't
+ test your pool; we can only help you do it.
+ look at your equipment; we can only look at pictures and text you send us.
+ see what's wrong with your pool; we can only read your descriptions.
As a result, questions that are some variation of
"My pool's messed up; what can I do?"
lead to an answer that is some version of
    "Dunno; tell us more!"
At a minimum, we need to know
+ current pH, chlorine, and stabilizer levels
+ info about HOW you tested (which kit; how often)
+ your pool size (gallons) and type (vinyl, concrete, above-ground, in-ground)
+ your filter type (sand, cartridge, DE)
+ what chemicals you've used recently,
+ and how you treat or sanitize your pool.
    And for equipment questions
+ make and model of the equipment.
Without some -- and preferably all -- of that information, we will only be wasting your time by guessing.

You can post pictures using Imgur: see http://pool9.net/postpix

You can get reliable and useful starter test kit, the a HTH 6-Way Test Kit (~$23) (made by Taylor) from Amazon or Walmart. [ Do NOT use the stabilizer / CYA test until AFTER you've added stabilizer. There are only 3x tests for CYA in that kit.]
