7/3 - 6:15pm water test results:
FC = 9.0 ppm
CC = 0
pH = 7.2
Alk = 100
Calcium = 220
CYA = 20-30
For the CYA I filled the tube to the very top (less than 30) and I had a hard time seeing the black spot so I assumed it was in the 20-30 range.

CC still 0! That is a good thing. How is the water clarity? Any improvement today? Go ahead and add some bleach tonight to take it up to about 12-15. Hopefully, it will all still be there in the morning and the CC will still be 0.
Watch your filter pressure since you added DE. You only want a 1psi rise in pressure.
Hi.....I can definitely see the bottom of the pool, just not that 'sparkling' clear water that we're all looking for. I would call it 'dull' at best.
I'll add another 182oz jug of bleach now and let the filter run overnight. We'll see how that works.
Thanks for the hand-holding. I appreciate it.![]()
You betcha!Glad to help. Hoping you can swim this weekend!
As of 11pm here are my cl levels:
FC = 17.2 ppm
CC = 0
We'll see what they look like in the morning. Have a good evening!
As of 8:30am here are my cl levels:
FC = 11.0 ppm
CC = 0
pH = 7.2
Water seems to be VERY slowly getting clearer, but again very hard to tell. Still very dull. Unsure why I would lose so much cl overnight though.
I'll be gone most of the morning and early afternoon with family but will check the levels later when I get home.
Happy 4th of July everyone!!
Go ahead and add more bleach this morning. I was hoping you wouldn't have chlorine loss overnight. Darn. Don't forget to check filter pressure. Have a good day with your family.
