    Default Pump has suction hose does not

    I have a 4 x 6 pool on the back deck of a condo and when i take the catch bucket out with pump on it has plenty of suction but when i hook the hose up to it to clean the bottom it has no suction. i have filled the hose up with water and done everything i was told to do. anybody have any help?

    Have you checked the pressure on your filter. If you need to backwash, you may not have enough suction to operate the vac. BTW -- Welcome to the forum!

    Try switching which end of the hose you attach to the vac-head
