    Default drainage around AGP

    I would like to install a french drain around 3/4 of my round pool before the pool is installed because of draininge concerns. Will digging a 1-2 ft trench around the pool weaken the pool foundation and possibly lead to future leveling issues? How far away from the pool would I need to dig the trench?

    IHelp! s it safe to dig 12-18" around the perimeter of an AGP? I'm almost ready to install.

    you should be fine, temporarily while doing the french drain- I wouldn't leave a trench for long without takinig some measure to prevent erosion from beneath the pool
    As always, make sure you know where any buried pipes/utilities are!
