Safe to use pool water on plants?

Hi,
I was wondering whether it is safe for my plants if I drain my water in the yard. I have a salt water pool and my salt level is too high, so I need to drain a foot or so of water. I am living in CenTX and with this dry weather I would hate to dump so much water out on the street.

I always backwash into my yard and it doesn't seem to bother my weeds, I mean ........... my grass.
