    The BOTH have chlorine neutralizers in them, The difference is the R-0004 is more concentrated since it is used in a 44ml water sample while the R-0014 is used in a 9 ml water sample. The larger water sample in the 2000 series comparators provides better precision for the acid and base demand tests.

    Thank you very much. I will get the R-0004 that was in my kit.

    BTW, when I purchased my house in 1998 the previous owner was using bleach for the pool. I don't know what else, but I guess he was a little ahead of the curve for his time. I didn't find the light until recently....and the BBB method is working great!
