    I doubled up the patch right away. What I did was tape the backside with gorilla tape just to get the rip back together. Then I put a patch over it about 4 inches wide, and about 2 inches past the tear on each side. Then I put another bigger patch over the first patch.
    As of this afternoon, it still isn't leaking and the refill is about 6 inches over the patch. If it does leak out an inch a week, I can live with that. Just to get me through the year.
    I have been lurking this site for about 2 years but this was the first time I've had to post. With all the advice I have gotten from just reading I should subscribe. Actually I will. Thanks guys!!!
