    Default Stingl Switch SR-500 problem

    Hi pool community,

I use a Stingl Switch SR-500 on my roughly 31,000 gallon pool, and though I'm not sure if it's a popular safety release switch, I hope someone here has more experience with it than I do. I run this switch on Continuous Mode ( pool filters 24/7), and this morning it was off. I tried to turn it back to Continuous Mode, but it appears something is wrong with how the buttons function. If I don't hold on to the ON button by physically pressing it, the switch automatically goes back to the SYS off reading. The same goes for Maintenance Mode. Typically, I only have to press the button once for the switch to perform the function I have selected. This switch has been used on the pool for over 2 1/2 years, but I have only worked on this pool for a year, so I'm not sure if this has happened before. I tried to reset the switch by cutting power to it and then returning power, but the switch still would not operate normally. Hopefully my descriptions were clear enough, and thanks for any ideas or help!
