I have an oval install ?

Hi folks. I have some experience installing round pools but now [I] am working on an oval from you know where. It is an 18 x 33 with 52" walls. I had a really drunk installer try to get this thing right but I have a few other issues. I am using foam cove and a gorilla pad. The wonderful drunk installed sand above the bottom rail then the pad and then the cove. We helped to install the liner but it turned out to be installed twisted and very uneven as well as the bottom. I have cleared the sand from the bottom rail and moved the cove down to that level. I am now banking sand on to the cove to try and get the liner to rest evenly on the cove, then I plan on putting down the bottom pad and installing the liner in hopefuly the proper orientation. If anybody has any helpful info I would really appreciate it.
